To login to your account, you must first know your username and your password. To get that information, find the login email that was sent to the email you used when you signed up for a course or program. In that email will be your username, which is your email, and a unique password created at time of registration.

Once you have your email and password ready to enter, visit any one of our course areas found on your homepage at the link below:

https://members.breakthroughguitar.com/backstage

Your options will be Courses, Academy, Teach & Earn or True Musician.

On one of those course areas, you can login by clicking the login button at the top right of the page, which is the icon in the shape of a person. By clicking that, you will be prompted to login using your email and password.

Alternatively, if you click "Access Now" on any course that you know you have access to, you will be prompted to login as well and can do so there.

If you have any trouble logging in, be sure to double check the password you are using that you are inputting it 100% correctly, as it is not uncommon to mistake a letter, number or add a space to the password that will render it incorrect.

Your password is automatically generated for you by the system, and should work without problems. However, passwords may not appear to work on occasion. 

Almost always, a password issue arises from trying to manually enter the password or username you received in your email - into the login box. And since the passwords consist of random capital letters, special characters, and numbers, it can be quite easy to mis-type a password or login email (username).

That's why we highly recommend you to "copy and paste" both your username and password into the login box. Here's how: 

1. Locate your username and password from the email that was sent to you in your "login info" email. 
2. Highlight the password and "COPY" it. 
3. Be sure not to copy a space BEFORE or AFTER the password, as this space can cause your password to fail.
4. Navigate to the login box on the page you're trying to login to.
5. PASTE the password you previously copied into the "password" field. 
6. Click the "log in" button.

When you follow these steps, you should be able to login successfully. 

If, for some reason, you still have trouble logging in, please send an email to support@breakthroughguitar.com and a Student Experience team member will assist you.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password very easily.

Simply click on the login button at the top right of the page. When you are prompted to enter your username and password, click the "Forgot Password" link in the bottom right corner of that box.

An email will be sent to the account on file with the same username (your email) and a new password to use. Use that password to login to your account.

To change your password, first log into your membership area by clicking the "My Profile" icon at the top right, which you can find by hovering over the icon in the shape of a person. 

Once logged in, you are brought to a page with your account information on it. There, you will see your password and an edit symbol that will prompt you with how to change your password from what it currently is to what you'd like to change it to.

To sign up for any course that you don't have access to, simply click the "Not A Member" button on the course box and it will take you to a page that provides information about that course and how to sign up.
